I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California (LMFT License No. 123060) and a Licensed Senior Specialist in Clinical Psychology in Saudi Arabia (Profile No. 20165281). I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
Prior to working in private practice, I worked with children and adults living with different mental health disorders due to childhood and adulthood trauma, among other life stressors. This has given me extensive experience in working with diverse populations and utilizing a variety of treatments. Part of my specialized background includes helping clients heal from the trauma of domestic violence, physical abuse, and sexual abuse. I also assist clients in managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and codependency; you can read more about the areas I can help with here. As a whole, my therapeutic approaches are client-centered, and I use personalized treatments based on my clients’ individual needs and goals; you can read more about my approaches to therapy here.
Alongside my clinical work, I publish newspaper articles and hold digital workshops/talks in effort to raise mental health awareness in the community. Above all, I have a unique understanding of cultural sensitivity and cultural competency that I’ve gained from practicing in California and the Middle East.
